Alberson debuts at Mississippi Thunder and Fairbury Speedway

Friday night saw Garrett Alberson return to action at Mississippi Thunder Speedway (Fountain City, Wis.) piloting his Bader Construction No. 59 Late Model for the Dairyland Showdown. Drawing 25 cars, Garrett timed in fifth fastest in his group before placing fifth in his heat. Slated to start the $5,000-to-win A-Main in 14th, Mother Nature made an appearance before the start of the feature that wiped out the 40-lapper.

The following night at Fairbury Speedway (Fairbury, Ill.) competing in a field of 23 cars for the FALS Cup, Alberson posted at third place finish in his heat, which positioned him ninth on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $2,500 on the line, Garrett was an early retiree from the 30-lapper on the third lap.
