12th place finish in Hell Tour debut at La Salle Speedway

Tuesday night found Garrett Alberson in action at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) for the World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series sanctioned event. Drawing 29 cars for the second series visit of the season at the quarter-mile oval, Garrett edged his way into the $10,000-to-win A-Main with the fourth and final transfer spot in his heat. Rolling off 15th, Alberson was an early retiree from the 50-lapper on lap 37.

On Wednesday evening at La Salle Speedway (LaSalle, Ill.) making his debut with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals Hell Tour, Alberson recorded the sixth fastest time in his group before placing fourth in his heat. Friday night saw Alberson hop behind the wheel of the Subzero Motorsports No. 140 Modified at Cedar County Raceway (Tipton, Iowa). In a field of 24 cars, Alberson posted a sixth place finish in his heat, which positioned him 17th on the starting grid for the feature. Gaining two spots in the 30-lap affair, Alberson recorded a 15th place outing.
