Garrett Alberson Lucas Oil doubleheader at Wheatland

On Monday afternoon Garrett Alberson ventured to 300 Raceway (Farley, Iowa) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) sanctioned Truck Country 50. With 27 cars on hand, Garrett suffered a blown motor while battling for a transfer spot in his heat that brought an immediate end to his night.

Returning to action on Friday evening, Alberson headed to Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) on Saturday afternoon for the 28th annual Show-Me 100. Drawing 44 cars for the event co-sanctioned by the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) and the Lucas Oil MLRA, Alberson logged an 11th place outing in his heat race, sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the $20,000-to-win A-Main. Needing a third place finish or better, Garrett recorded a 12th place outing.

The following night for the CMH Diamond Nationals, Garrett timed in 14th fastest in his group before placing ninth in his heat. Rolling off 10th in his B-Main for one final shot at the $12,000-to-win finale, Alberson passed five cars to finish fifth but fell two spots shy of a transfer position.
