Sixth place finish in third round of Wild West Shootout

On Wednesday night for the third round of the Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout at FK Rod Ends Arizona Speedway (Queen Creek, Ariz.), Alberson notched a runner-up finish in his heat behind Stormy Scott, which positioned him ninth on the starting grid for the A-Main. With $5,000 on the line, Garrett clawed forward three spots in the 30-lapper to register a sixth-place finish.

On Saturday afternoon for the final $5,000-to-win preliminary feature, Alberson notched a runner-up finish in his heat behind Terry Phillips, which positioned him 11th on the starting grid for the A-Main. Clawing forward two spots in the 40-lap affair, Garrett recorded a ninth-place finish.

Wrapping up the 15th annual Keyser Manufacturing Wild West Shootout on Sunday, Garrett secured his spot into the $25,000-to-win finale with a third place finish in his heat race. Rolling off 10th, Alberson faded five spots in the 50-lapper to place 15th.

With the six-race mini-series complete, Garrett finished seventh in the final Wild West Shootout point standings.
