Garrett Alberson notches second-place finish in Summer Nationals debut at La Salle

Wednesday night found Roberts Racing pilot Garrett Alberson in action at La Salle Speedway (LaSalle, Ill.) to make his debut with the DIRTcar Summer Nationals. In a field of 35 cars, Alberson laid down the fastest time in his group before picking up a heat race victory. Rolling off on the front row for the feature, Garrett held a steady pace in the 40-lapper, scoring a runner-up finish behind race-long pacesetter Brian Shirley.
