Garrett Alberson notches fourth-place finish at Davenport Speedway

Friday night saw Garrett Alberson return with the Lucas Oil Midwest Late Model Racing Association (MLRA) at Davenport Speedway (Davenport, Iowa) for the $3,000 prize. Following a sixth-place finish in his heat race, Garrett edged his way into the opening night feature with the third-and-final transfer spot in his B-Main. Wheeling his way into the Top-5, Alberson advanced through the field 18 spots in the 30-lapper to register a fourth-place finish. He trailed Ricky Thornton Jr., Tony Toste, and Tony Jackson Jr. to the checkers with Jeremiah Hurst coming in fifth. (Mike Ruefer photo)

Mother Nature won the tour’s stop at West Liberty Raceway (West Liberty, Iowa) on Saturday.

Garrett has climbed to second in the latest Lucas Oil MLRA point standings.
