Alberson invades Farmer City Raceway for Illini 100

Garrett Alberson and the Roberts Motorsports team kicked off their 2021 season on Friday afternoon at Farmer City Raceway (Farmer City, Ill.) for the Illini 100. Drawing 46 World of Outlaws Morton Buildings Late Model Series entries for the two-day event, Alberson logged a ninth-place finish in his heat race, sending him into the B-Main for another shot at the opening night feature. For the second round of the Illini 100 on Saturday, Garrett finished eighth in his heat, giving him one final shot at the $20,000-to-win finale with a B-Main appearance. Needing to place third or better, Alberson fell short with an eighth-place finish.
