Alberson finishes 13th in Castrol FNiA stop at Brownstown
On Tuesday afternoon, Garrett Alberson and the Roberts Motorsports team invaded Eldora Speedway (Rossburg, Ohio) to compete in a stout field of 49 Late Models for the Castrol FloRacing Night in America tour opener. With recent rain showers and a new surface making for rough track conditions, Alberson’s 10th-to-seventh run in his heat race relegated him into the B-Main. For the second round of the 13-race miniseries on Wednesday at Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.), Garrett followed up a sixth-place finish in his heat with a second-place finish in his B-Main. Starting the $22,022-to-win A-Main in 20th, Alberson gained seven positions in the 50-lap affair to place 13th.
