Garrett Alberson records 13th-place finish in Historic 100 prelim

With 31 Late Models on the grounds, Alberson edged his way into the $15,000-to-win preliminary feature with the fourth-and-final transfer spot in his heat. Inching forward two spots in the 30-lap affair, Garrett recorded a 13th-place finish.

For Saturday’s program, Garrett was forced to take a provisional into the $50,000-to-win E3 Spark Plugs Historic 100 after getting in a tangle in his B-Main. Pulling out his secondary car, Alberson charged from 23rd up to 13th early but contact with the wall on lap 25 ended his night early.

Garrett is currently ninth in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
