Alberson registers a trio of Top-10 finishes with LOLMDS

Starting the feature in 12th via a fourth-place performance in his heat race, Alberson improved five positions in the heat-shortened 30-lapper to finish seventh.

In a field of 33 LOLMDS entries on Friday evening at Tri-City Speedway (Granite City, Ill.) for the NAPA Know How 50, Garrett’s second-place finish in his heat placed him on the fourth row for the feature. With $12,000 on the line, Alberson dropped three spots to register a 10th-place finish.

On Saturday evening at Lucas Oil Speedway (Wheatland, Mo.) for the $15,000-to-win CMH Diamond Nationals, Alberson edged his way into the finale with an eighth-to-fourth in his heat. Rolling off 13th, Garrett passed six cars in the 50-lap finale to place seventh.

He remains in seventh in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
