Garrett Alberson records eighth-place finish in Topless 100 at Batesville

Drawing 48 cars for the event co-sanctioned with the Comp Cams Super Dirt Series (CCSDS), Alberson grabbed the third-and-final transfer spot in his heat, which positioned him on the eighth row for the $5,000-to-win preliminary feature. Breaking into the Top-10, Garrett passed six cars in the 30-lapper to register a 10th-place finish.

Earning the 10th-starting position for Saturday’s $50,000-to-win Topless 100, Garrett inched forward two spots in the 100-lap affair to finish eighth.

Garrett is currently seventh in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
