Alberson attends Jackson 100 weekend at Brownstown Speedway
For the two-day Jackson 100 weekend, Roberts Motorsports and Garrett Alberson visited Brownstown Speedway (Brownstown, Ind.) on Friday as the C.J. Rayburn Memorial lifted the lid on the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) doubleheader.
With a third-place finish in his heat lining him on the fifth row for the opener, Garrett dropped three spots in the 40-lap feature, crossing the line in 13th.
After missing a transfer spot by one car in his heat race on Saturday evening, Alberson raced into the $30,000-to-win Jackson 100 finale with a consolation victory. Muscling forward five spots in the 100-lap affair, Garrett rolled to another 13th-place finish.
Garrett is currently 11th in the latest LOLMDS point standings.
