Garrett Alberson lands Top-10 finish in Jackson 100 at Brownstown Speedway
Closing in on the final weekend with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series, Garrett Alberson checked into Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway for the Jackson 100 after the finale at East Bay Raceway Park (Gibsonton, Fla.) was cancelled.
Charging to an 11th-place finish in the CJ Rayburn Memorial on Friday evening, Alberson picked up on Saturday by setting quick time in his qualifying group before winning his heat race. Garrett rolled off from the pole in the $50,000-to-win Jackson 100 before fading back to finish seventh after 100-laps.
Alberson is currently sixth in the series point standings.
