Podium finish in Peach Bowl; fifth-place outing in Peach State Classic at Senoia Raceway
Closing out their 2024 season, Garrett Alberson and the Roberts Motorsports team invaded Senoia (Ga.) Raceway on Friday afternoon for the Castrol FloRacing Night in America season finale.
Kicking off the weekend with the $20,000-to-win Peach Bowl, Alberson qualified second-fastest and picked up a heat race victory. Garrett rolled off from the second-row in the 40-lap feature and survived a rough and tumble racing surface to finish on the podium in third. He trailed Ricky Thornton Jr. and Bobby Pierce while Dautlon Wilson and Jason Feger completed the Top-5.
Alberson kept his pace up on Saturday evening as he once again qualified second-quickest in his group and took home a heat race victory. Starting fourth in the $30,000-to-win finale, Garrett rounded out the Top-5 with a fifth-place finish. He trailed Ricky Thornton Jr., Zack Mitchell, Jonathan Davenport, and Hudson O'Neal.
Alberson wound up sixth in the final point standings.
