Sixth-place outing in Buckeye Spring 50 at Atomic Speedway
For a doubleheader weekend in Ohio and Indiana, Garrett Albeson was one of 33 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series entries at Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) on Friday afternoon for the $15,000-to-win Buckeye Spring 50.
Laying down the third-quickest lap in his qualifying group, Alberson rolled to a runner-up finish in his heat race and recorded a sixth-place finish just outside the Top-5 in the 50-lap main event.
At Brownstown (Ind.) Speedway on Saturday night, Alberson picked up a heat race victory and started third in the $25,000-to-win feature before spinning just past halfway. Garrett recovered to finish 14th.
Garrett currently sits sixth in the LOLMDS point standings.
