Alberson collects pair of Top-5 MARS finishes at Nippy 50
Garrett Alberson was able to compete in his home state of Iowa on Friday and Saturday, joining the MARS Late Model Championship Series at Maquoketa (Iowa) Speedway for the Nippy 50.
One of 44 Late Models in the pit area, Alberson made up two positions in Friday's $10,000-to-win opener to finish fifth and improved by one position on Saturday as he scored a fourth-place outing in the $15,000-to-win finale.
