Alberson grabs podium finish with Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series at Talladega
Making his first-career appearance with the series, Garrett Alberson joined a massive 50-car field at Talladega Short Track (Eastaboga, Ala.) on Friday afternoon for night one of the Hunt the Front Super Dirt Series-sanctioned Bama Bash.
Securing quicktime honors, Alberson went on to win his heat race and redraw the fourth-starting position. In the 40-lap, $8,000-to-win opener, Garrett drove to podium finish in third. He trailed Dale McDowell and Zack Mitchell while Chris Ferguson and Ashton Winger completed the podium.
