Alberson scores fourth-place finish in Firecracker 100 at Lernerville Speedway
Losing both preliminary nights because of persistent rain showers, Garrett Alberson and the Roberts Motorsports team prepped for a single-day show at Lernerville Speedway (Sarver, Pa.) with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.
Alberson signed in among 53 Super Late Models entries and went fifth-quickest in his qualifying group before he picked up a heat race win. Garrett started from the second row in the 100-lap, $50,000-to-win feature and landed inside the Top-5 in fourth. He trailed Jonathan Davenport, Ricky Thornton Jr., and Max Blair while Mason Ziegler completed the Top-5.
Alberson is fifth in the series point standings.
