Alberson earns pole position for 38th USA Nationals at Cedar Lake Speedway

Following the tour for another crown jewel weekend, Garrett Alberson joined a field of over 50 World of Outlaw Real American Beer Late Models at Cedar Lake Speedway (New Richmond, Wis.) for the 38th-annual USA Nationals.

Alberson finished 19th in the $10,000-to-win opener before he picked up a heat race win and raced to the victory in the feature dash. Garrett sat on the pole for the 100-lap, $100,000-to-win finale on Saturday and led the first 11 circuits before he started to fade through the field. Garrett wound up 16th.
