Seventh-place showing in Rumble by the River opener at Port Royal Speedway
Prepared for two straight weeks in the state of Pennsylvania, Garrett Alberson was one of 45 Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series cars at Port Royal (Pa.) Speedway on Friday afternoon for the night one of the Rumble by the River.
Charging from fourth-to-second in his heat race, Alberson started on the third-row of the $10,000-to-win opener and finished seventh after 40-laps. Garrett rolled into Saturday's finale and wound up 13th in the running order.
Alberson remains sixth in the overall point standings.
