Seventh-place outing in Pittsburgher for Garrett Alberson with Lucas Dirt
With just one more race weekend before the season finale, Garrett Alberson and the Roberts Motorsports team followed the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series to Pittsburgh Pennsylvania Motor Speedway (Imperial, Pa.) for the two-day Pittsburgher.
Alberson was one of 44 Super entries in the pit area as he qualified second in his group and grabbed a heat race win on night one. Garrett started third in the $10,000-to-win opener and ran fourth behind Devin Moran, Brandon Sheppard, and Max Blair.
On Saturday, Garrett went from third-to-first in his heat for another heat race win and started on the second-row of the 70-lap finale. Alberson fell back slightly and wound up seventh in the final running order of the $50,000-to-win feature.
Heading into the season finale, Alberson is currently sixth in the series point standings.
