Top-5 in Ralph Latham Memorial for Garrett Alberson at Florence Speedway

Starting off the week in the Hawkeye State, Garrett Alberson joined the World of Outlaws Late Model Series at Independence (Iowa) Motor Speedway on Tuesday night before heading to Circle City Raceway (Indianapolis, Ind.) and Florence Speedway (Union, Ky.) with the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series.

Finishing second in his heat race, Alberson started eighth in the $12,000-to-win show and finished just outside the Top-5 in sixth.

Alberson ran outside the Top-10 on Friday evening in 13th, but rebounded on Saturday night with a fifth-place finish. He trailed Hudson O'Neal, Devin Moran, Ricky Thornton Jr., and Brandon Sheppard.

Alberson is sitting seventh in the LOLMDS point standings.
